Posted on

Probiotics never tasted so mmm mmm goood!!!  Thanks to Diana at Good Belly, I was fortunate enough to review some insanely flavorful probiotic products to share with you guys!  I received some of each of the Good Belly quarts in Blueberry Acai, Mango, Cranberry Watermelon, and Black Currant along with three of the Good Belly Plus flavored shots (which are completely adorable!) in Strawberry, Blueberry Acai, and Mango.

Incase you’re out of the probiotic loop, the health benefits are essential to quality digestion and immunityThey can help keep your entire system in balance!

Good Belly Plus

The “Plus” means that they are the same great tasting probiotic formula as the quart sizes, only they’ve got extra nutrients through 17 essential vitamins and minerals!  All of Good Belly’s products are completely vegan too!  They have no soy, dairy, or wheat!  Just 20 BILLION live and active cultures per serving!  They are made with only organic, natural ingredients too, so you can be confident you will only be putting the best that nature has to offer into your body!

How cute are they? They even smile at you :)

The taste is unbelievable too!  I thought I just picked up a smoothie as I chugged one of these little shots!  The strawberry was my favorite and reminded me of a daquari!  One shot left me wanting more! I couldn’t believe the nutrients packed into just one 50 calorie serving of these Good Belly Plus guys:

PacificHealth Labratories, Inc.

Founded in 1995, PacificHealth Labratories, Inc. began an exciting company based on creating premium nutritional tools for athletes’ performance and recovery, or optimal weight management.

Endurox R4

They’ve developed special product to market with the proven and patented 4:1 ratio of carbohydrate to protein, the Endurox R4.   This product is a drink mix powder that aides in restoration of muscle along with rehydration after an hour or more of intense exercise!   It combines antioxidants to reduce post-exercise muscle damage and glutamine to help reduce muscle stress also!  It comes in five different flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate, Lemon Lime, Fruit Punch, and Tangy Orange!  I was sent the fruit punch to sample, which didn’t have a bad taste, but I have a hard time with powder drink mixes.  It definitely helped me feel recovered after a long hard workout though!  So efficiency was key!

Forze Bars & Shakes

My favorite product that was sent for review, were the Forze GPS bars.  They were actually designed as a weight management tool to supress hunger from a blend of healthy fats, protein and calcium, plus added fiber to activate the body’s natural appetite control signal.  I think they taste more like a candy bar!  :)   They’ve got great texture and taste!  The Cranberry Nut and Caramel Chocolate were my two favorites, but the Chocolate Decadence and Peanut Butter Chocolate were delish, too!  Each 40g bar has 150-160 calories, depending on the flavor, 5-6g of fat (.5-2g saturated), 8g of protein,  and 4-5g of fiber!  The basis of each bar was either rolled oats or soy crisp.  Each bar provided about 10% you daily value of each, Folic Acid, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin  E, Vitamin B1, Vitamin  B3, Riboflavin, Niacin, and Thiamin.  Not to mention, 40% of your daily Calcium!  The Forze line also comes in shakes – Chocolate & Vanilla!

Accel Gel Family

I was also impressed with the Accel Gels that they sent me for review!  It is also the first and only sports gel to have a patented 4:1 carbohydrate-protein ratio which helps to increase muscular endurance 13% more than other sports gels!  Because some of them contain additional caffeine, they will give you a quick boost of energy when you need it most!  I highly reccommend these for long distance runners who are looking for something to help them stay fueled and energized during the big race!  The taste is surprisingly good as well!  Unlike other sports gels I’ve tried, these are smooth and creamy with flavors that don’t make you cringe!  They come in Strawberry Kiwi, Citrus Orange, Chocolate with caffeine, Vanilla, Key Lime, and Raspberry Creme with caffeine.  I think I enjoyed either the Raspberry Creme or the Key Lime the most!  They were pretty dessert like

Thank you, PacificHealth Labs for creating and supplying me with such awesome, top-of-the-line athletic performance aides!  They rock!  You can find a retailer near you here, or even order online!

Exciting news from “The Bachelor” last night!  One of the girls (that we couldn’t stand) decided to have an “inappropriate” relationship with one of the staffing members on the production of the show! How ridiculous?!  Drama, drama, drama…anyway, it still made for a fun girls’ night and we had a good time making fun of Rozlyn, who was kicked off last night.

Woo hooo, the wicked witch is gone :)

Anyway, before I left for my Aunt’s house to meet up with the gang for our little get together, I biked for about an hour (burning approximately 400 calories) cooked up some boneless, skinless lean chicken breasts on the stove top with some taco seasoning and put together two chicken “burritos” with La Tortilla Factory High Fiber wraps, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, salsa, and lite sour cream.

Chicken Burrito

On the side I had some green beans, also:

Yummy veggies.

When I arrived home, I prepped lunch & breakfast for a quick and easy morning today.

Breakfast: Cottage cheese mess.

Lunch: Leftover Chicken burrito with cucumber, tomato, & carrot salad with raspberry vinaigrette.

Everyone, be sure to check out some awesome give away’s in the blogosphere! Brandi is giving away 2-multi packs of  Crofter’s fruit spread (which we all know I LOVEEEE)!
