Dear John.

Posted on

So, who else cannot WAIT until this movie comes out February 5th?!  I’m actually getting annoyed everytime I see a preview because it feels like it’s taking SO long for it to finally come out!!

Ahhhh.  Channing Tatum is enough to make anyone fall in love with this movie.  I’m excited to see it, mostly because I’ve already read the Nicholas Sparks book, and it was awesome.  The only thing I worry about, is that sometimes when you read such a phenomonal book and they make it into a movie, it ends up being a let down, causing you to dislike both the movie and the book (basically the entire story).

The weekend is finally here!  Nothing too exciting on the agenda, except my Aunt and her family are coming over on Sunday for lunch and a visit!  I love seeing them.  I’ll make sure to post some pictures so that you can see how much alike my Aunt and I look.  People tell me all the time that I’m a spitting image of my Dad…until they meet my Aunt, that is.  We could’ve passed for twins had we been the same age.

Before I jump ahead too much, I’ll give you an update as to how last night went down.  It was the typical routine when I arrived home from work last night.  Excepttttt there was this package of exciting goodies from Tumeros on my doorstep! :)

New Organic Healthy Flour Tortillas!

I tore them open and decided to use one of them as my workout fuel along with another Jonagold apple before I hit the stationary bike.  The Honey Wheat is EXCELLENT.  It’s the only flavor I’ve tried so far, but stay tuned for the official review soon.

5 or 6 halved brussel sprouts.

For dinner last night, I took a break once I hit 300 calories on the bike to whip up a baking sheet spread with the left over brussel sprouts coated in SF syrup & balsamic as a side to go with the salad I planned on making later.  Instead of making “chips”, I just kept them halved this time.

After prepping those, I went back to pedaling for a little while yet, burning a total of 500 calories.  I facebooked and surfed the web to keep busy.

Once I was finished with the cycling, I decided on a different way to unwind.  I’ve come to the conclusion that there is simply nothing better than a warm bubble bath and some red wine on a cold winter night…except all of that WITH a massage.  Haha.

Anyway,  after that treat to myself, I made a big salad of chopped veggies, pineapple salsa, and kidney beans for dinner.  I actually forgot to take a picture (my apologies), but it looked just like allll the others, I promise.

After dinner I did some cleaning & vegged the rest of the night.

Hope you all had a great night!  Happy FRIDAY
