In honor of the September 11 victims, Katie’s boyfriend, Ari and his band, The Upwelling has written a song called “Ladder 116” for and about the events and complexities of September 11, 2001 on their newest album, American Stranger.
They’ve teamed up with a charity so that all of the proceeds from the song and the music video for “Ladder 116” will go to the New York Police and Fire widow’s and childrens benefit fund. For further information see answerthecall.org.
