Personally, I’m a huge fan of brown rice in general. It is yummy all by itself, but is also very versatile! Nutritionally speaking, it doesn’t get much better either! It’s got whole grains, it’s sodium and cholesterol free, and has less than 1g of fat per serving! Since it is a complex carb, it’ll give your body whole sustained energy without spiking blood sugar levels, due to its low glycemic index!
Not only that, it’s also loaded with all eight essential amino acids, important B-complex vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin), as well as phosphorus, iron, and potassium!
My favorite member of the Minute Rice family is the Brown Rice Minute Cups! They’re perfect little individual cups of ready-to-serve rice that you just remove the plastic covering and heat in the microwave for 1 minute! I loved taking them in my lunches! They came out perfectly chewy and al dente. Comfort food at its finest. How convenient?!
