Diana’s Banana Babies

Dying for a decadent, refreshing dessert to kick your chocolate craving that won’t clean out your calorie bank?  Try a Diana’s Banana Baby

From the time I was a little girl, these treats were among my favorites.  I’ll always link chocolate-covered bananas to the millions of memories I have from Ocean City, NJ, where my family used to take vacations together.  EVERY night each of my sisters and I got to choose a dessert from the boardwalk, and EVERY night I chose a chocolate-covered banana!

These BABIES made my childhood come flooding back 🙂  Not to mention, they gave me a healthy alternative to getting my chocolate!

Not only that, with Diana’s, you know you’re getting quality ingredients, no chocolate posers, just real, bar chocolate.  The team at Diana’s personally selects only fully ripe, creamy, sweet white bananas, which they quick freeze to -20 degrees fahrenheit!  As Gena proved, bananas can be formed to taste just like ice cream!  This is definitely the case with the banana babies, too!

I simply couldn’t resist the opportunity to try her softserve with CHOCOLATE already in the mix!  The result?  HEALTHified Chunky Monkey HOMEMADE ICE CREAM.  HOLY yum.  Pretty sure my life is complete, now.

Each banana baby without nuts has just 130 calories, 6g fat, 2g protein, and 1g fiber!  Not too shabby for something that tastes totally heavenly.  With nuts, you’re still only at 200 calories, 15g fat, 6g protein, and 3g fiber

It’s a jungle out there, so now you can order some Banana Babies to be shipped right to your home!  ORrrrrr if you’d like to brave the world, go out and get your own at any of the stores found on the Store LocatorThey come in full size banana varieties too!

  1. Sami, thanks for the kind words. I think you’ve told the Banana Baby story better than we ever did. Best wishes on your great blog.
